ENTRY APPROVAL: All entries must first be approved
by the B.E.L.S.C. Parade Committee. Any entries advocating
any political or social issues are subject to approval of
the Parade Committee. Non-decorated cars other than those
for distinguished guests of the Parade Committee will not
be permitted. The Parade Committee's decision regarding all
entries is final.
IMPORTANT INFO
ON THE MORNING OF THE PARADE
CHECK-IN: All entries must report to the CHECK-IN
STATION in the parade assembly area for any up dated information
and registration. Your position number and any additional
information will be provided at that time. Your number assigned
by the Parade Marshall will be marked on the street.
POSITION NUMBER: The position number will be
assigned when you arrive at the registration desk. The position
number of every entry must appear on the lead vehicle
(drivers side), so the parade judges, spectators and commentators
can identify each entry.
RULES DURING PARADE:
- During the parade, entries must maintain a spacing of
no less than 15 metres (50 feet) and no more 30 metres (100
feet) behind the preceding unit and regulate their speed
accordingly. Pacers/Ambassadors will be stationed along
the route to maintain spacing.
- No material of any kind can be
handed out or thrown to spectators along the line of march. You may bring these items to the Post Parade Festivities
to give out.
- Entries having completed the parade route will disperse
along Elwell & Humphries. Maps will be provided with dispersal
information at the time of entry.
- Alcoholic beverages are forbidden on any float, in any
vehicle or on the person of any participant. Participants
consuming alcohol will not be permitted in the parade.
INSURANCE: All motorized and float entries must provide
evidence of insurance for bodily injury and property damage
liability with combined single limits of $2,000,000. Please forward a copy of you insurance with your application.
THE EDMONDS SANTA CLAUS PARADE COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY ENTRY AND TO REMOVE
THEM FROM THE PARADE AT ANY TIME. |
